We are looking to fill our Distribution Administrator position. This is a long-term position (not seasonal).
Duties include (but not are limited to):
- Act as department lead for the Distribution sector of the company
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage email, phone and text communication for the department to clients and team members using professional formats
- Fulfill online orders for primary boutique using shipment processes set by company standards; includes completing customization services as paid for by clients
- Creating, processing and packaging orders in a timely manner
- Edit/Adjust orders as needed to fulfill client requests
- Receiving, inspecting and distributing all merchandise as it comes in in a timely manner
- Communicating regularly with carriers who deliver and take parcels to ensure packages are being handled in a timely fashion
- Handle all online return/exchange requests in a timely manner
- Count inventory and make necessary adjustments as needed without error
- Maintain transactions in person, over the phone and through email
- Maintain cleanliness of the stock room and preform basic housekeeping duties daily
- Successfully fit base products to company standards

- Able to stand and move for the duration of a shift
- Able to lift up to 80lbs without assistance
- Able to regularly use a ladder
- Able to organize items numerically and alphabetically without error
- Exceptional ability to handle cash transactions and process transactions using a Point of Sale System (POS) without error (training will be included)
- Able to shift seamlessly between tasks as needed without error

Able to sew using a machine (will be taught how to sew to company standards and how to use machine if not previously used one before)
- Comfortably and confidently communicate over the phone
- Confidently write professional correspondence with clients following basic grammar and sentence structure
- Confidently and without error use online platforms such as Google Suite, Zendesk and Slack for communication and fulfill all technical duties required daily
- Ability to stage and create photo/video moments for social media use regularly
- Ability to deep clean daily, including cleaning toilets, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, etc
- Ability to learn dance terms and how they are used in our field of work
- Ability to comfortably uphold boutique policies with customers
- Ability to package orders following protocol
- Flexibility to learn basic associate duties to assist sales team on the floor as needed throughout the year
This position is a part time job, averaging 20 hours per week. Increased hours may vary based on the time of year. Only one opening available.
The position is inside our flagship location in Frederick, MD. Operating hours are typically between 9a-2p. This is not an overnight position.
High school diploma or GED required.
Salary Range (includes training period) between: $15 - $16 an hour.
