Distribution Administrator Application

 We are looking to fill our Distribution Administrator position. This is a long-term position (not seasonal).

Duties include (but not are limited to):

  • Filling incoming online orders
  • Creating, processing and packaging orders as needed to successfully fulfill client requests
  • Edit/Adjust orders as needed to fulfill client requests
  • Receiving and inspecting all merchandise as it comes in from vendors
  • Communicating regularly with carriers who deliver and take parcels to ensure packages are being handled in a timely fashion 
  • Handle all online return/exchange requests 
  • Communicate order details to clients regularly
  • Count inventory and make necessary adjustments as needed without error
  • Maintain email inbox for all shipping department communication between clients and with other team members (including members in the satellite location)
  • Maintain transactions in person, over the phone and through email 
  • Maintain cleanliness of the stock room and preform basic housekeeping duties daily
  • Learn basic associate duties to help on sales floor as needed (such as fitting certain items)

This position is a part time job, averaging 25 hours per week. Increased hours may vary based on the time of year. Only one opening available.

The position is inside our flagship location in Frederick, MD. Operating hours are only during normal shop hours. This is not an overnight or early morning position. 

High school diploma or GED required. 

Salary Range (includes training period) between: $15 - $17 an hour.

Requirements (includes but not limited to):

  • Ability to use Google Suite apps regularly
  • Exceptional ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Exceptional ability to handle cash transactions
  • Exceptional communication skills, including proficiency with reading and writing in a professional manner (such as emails and phone calls)
  • Ability to navigate Apple products, such as an iPad with ease
  • Ability to regularly move heavy objects over 50lbs without assistance
  • Be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stage and create photo/video moments for social media use regularly
  • Ability to deep clean daily, including cleaning toilets, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, etc
  • Ability to use steps and ladder multiple times throughout a single shift
  • Exceptional ability to read and understand barcodes
  • Exceptional ability to count stock and retain inventory levels
  • Ability to learn dance terms and how they are used in our field of work
  • Ability to comfortably uphold boutique policies with customers
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to technology used to create and execute fulfillment of client orders
  • Ability to package orders following protocol
  • Flexibility to learn basic associate duties to assist sales team on the floor as needed throughout the year
